Fun Run to Raven’s Glenn Winery
Greg and Ann Gillman led the first MBCA Central Ohio Section drive of the year to Raven's Glenn Winery on Sunday, May 23rd. It sure felt good to see our friends from the club again after being locked down because of COVID for over a year. The weather was perfect that day and the scenery was beautiful. We left New Albany at about 10:00 AM and took a spirited drive on some of the best winding country roads in our state. Ohio Route 541 out of Martinsburg up to Coshocton is definitely a fun road in our sporty German cars! Mel and Pat Rochowiak got the "Top Speed" award of the day in their AMG! It was a fun run up to the winery that included a tasting of some of Ohio's best wines that are made from grapes grown in their vineyard and produced in their winery. After the wine tasting, the members enjoyed some great food at their restaurant overlooking the Tuscarawas River. We had fantastic MBCA car club friends, beautiful weather, delicious food, great wine and a chance to drive our beautiful Mercedes-Benz automobiles. What more could you want?
